Freedom Park examples

I’ve been photographing in Freedom Park in Dilworth, Charlotte for years. Lots of wooded areas, a pond, a bridge, and an amphitheater create plenty of options. Like any public park, its best to go on a weekday to avoid big crowds.

McGill Rose Garden examples

Like being outside in a quiet spot? McGill is Charlotte’s secret garden, located close to the Noda Arts District.

Camp North End examples

Like an urban setting, with a bit of edge? Camp North End’s got acres of creative backdrops and industrial design.

Anne Springs Greenway, Rock Hill examples

Beautiful natural areas and a historic dairy barn highlight this popular park in Rock Hill, SC. Note, venue charges $70 fee.

At Home examples

Is home where your heart is? If you love your house, your yard, your room, then you’re already in your perfect location.

At Your Country Club examples

Your family’s country club can be a great location for your senior pictures. Golf courses have wide open green spaces, and clubhouses often have good structures for backdrops with low crowds. Here are Carmel Country Club examples below, but Myers Park Country Club, Quail Hollow Club, Providence Country Club, Ballantyne Country Club and others ofter similar environments.

For total control over lighting, do all or part of your session at ParksPictures home studio or rent time at a larger studio.
