Extended Family Pictures
Such a special evening celebrating a wonderful grandmother and grandfather and extended family with a casual backyard portrait session in the Southpark neighborhood of Charlotte NC.
What a fun night, getting to meet the Tenzer family for a portrait session in the backyard of their Southpark home, just ten minutes from my studio. They came to be via referral from the mother of a high school girl whose senior pictures I’d taken last year. My favorite way to meet new clients will always be the referral!
With grandma and granddad moving into a new community, and the extended family together over the holidays, it was the perfect time for a portrait session. Two sisters, a brother, and all the spouses and kids - party time! We used the large grassy backyard, with a simple backdrop of hollies and brick.
I think the goal with family portrait photography is capturing a little bit of the love between the family members, and we were able to do that here.
