Charlotte Bridal Portraits at The Duke Mansion

Liz’s Bridal Portrait at The Duke Mansion

The Duke Mansion describes itself as, “southern charm wrapped in modern luxury, with the added benefit of individual attention.” Shooting there as a Charlotte Wedding Photographer, I think that’s a pretty accurate description. Its hands-down one of the most beautiful places for engagement sessions, bridal sessions, and weddings.  I got spoiled here in the Eastover neighborhood, 4 mi. from home, as the staff served champagne and we had reserved access to the entire property.

Liz was spectacular in her Savvy Bride Boutique dress, Danna Smith-Lightly Wilson-styled hair, and Make-up by Wink Inspired Beauty.  I met Liz a few months earlier, when her fiancé Mason booked me to photograph their proposal, and we really liked the idea of a Duke bridal session.  During the session, Liz had a great idea to use the bouquet from her Mom and Dad's wedding.

Special thanks to my creative directors, Mom Priscilla and Mother-in-law Ruth, who had great ideas through the session.

Stay tuned for Liz+Mason's wedding pictures in a future post!
