Charlotte Wedding at The Providence Cotton Mill

Karina+Matthews’ Spring Wedding at The Providence Cotton Mill

“Let all that you do be done in love.”

- Paul

It so was important to Karina and Matthew that every guest feel welcome and included.  Their wedding was an act of love, and they planned it so all the guests could participate. We created a long list of group photographs, and a receiving line at the reception, so each person got a photograph and moment with the bride+groom.  These two were a special couple.

As a Charlotte wedding photographer, I’m a big fan of The Providence Cotton Mill as a wedding venue. Less than an hour from uptown Charlotte, in Maiden NC,its 130-year old brick building with exposed rafters is a dream backdrop for wedding photography. The Providence Cotton Mill provides an open-air, outdoors feel to a wedding with the security of a full roof in the event of rain. And behind the mill is a large grass area for some really special bride and groom portraits if you know where to look. As a bonus, there is a perfect spot for food trucks beside the building… I love food trucks!
