Zahra and Cole envisioned an inclusive wedding that invited both of their families and cultures to play roles in the celebration, and they succeeded wonderfully. Like the diamond ring that Cole selected perfectly for her, Zahra’s dazzled in her wedding gown in an elegant wedding at The Club at Longview, just south of Charlotte in nearby Waxhaw, NC. In a special ceremony that fused Persian and Christian traditions, Zahra and Cole had a beautiful outdoor ceremony overlooking the golf course. The Sofreh table, a Persian wedding ceremony tradition, was covered with edible delicacies and gorgeous decorations, each with unique symbolism for their marriage.  A highlight of the reception was the Persian knife dance, where in order to cut the cake, the bride and groom had to first earn the knife from dancers. What a gift it was to be the photographer for this wedding!
