I mean, where else can you find a waterfall in Uptown Charlotte, NC? It’s a background for an engagement session that makes a diamond sparkle. Located in the midst of Uptown Charlotte's skyline, Romare Bearden Park sports a massive man-made waterfall that’s a fun backdrop for couple's engagement pictures.

We met up on a Tuesday evening just before sunset for this couple’s engagement session, and had a blast getting to know each other better and making engagement pictures for the Save-the-Date cards and wedding reception slideshows. Our journey started back when Mackenzie found me on TheKnot.com as she searched for “ wedding photographers near me ”, then realized that I was the wedding photographer for a friend of hers. Popping up on couple’s Google is great, but hearing from a friend that I’m the wedding photographer for them matters most. Grateful for all my past wedding couples!

Can’t wait for Mackenzie and Blake’s fall wedding later this year at Providence Country Club in Charlotte NC. Gonna be a great one!
